We are still alive....and we just got back from the beach

We are all alive and well. I went back to work in October so things have been a little busy for us lately. I promise to get everyone up to date soon. Here are some pictures from the beach trip last week. I came home early ... being that I just started my job I don't have much time off since I took a week in December to go to Disney World.

Pumpkin Carving with Kenny

Kenny and Allie did a great job carving our pumpkin tonight! Allie requested that we have a scary pumpkin this year and even drew us a picture of what she wanted it to look like... Enjoy the pictures.

Georgia Tech Homecoming 2008

This past weekend we took the kids down to Georgia Tech to see the sites of Homecoming. Jake loved all the big trucks and machines and Allie wanted to touch all the tissue paper creations at the houses. It was COLD but we had a great time!

Mommy got a job!

Well I finally got a job and start back to work this month. It will be a big adjustment for the family but in the long run I think it will good for all of us. I have two interviews with day cares tomorrow and hope to start the kids a couple of mornings next week to ease into things. Please say a prayer for the kids as this will be the biggest adjustment for them. Poor little Jake only knows being at home with me so I worry about him the most. Allie is excited to be going back to school and meeting new friends. I know she will do great!!

Elton John

Jake recently found a pair of Allie's sunglasses and he LOVES to wear them. He will walk around with them on and just laugh at himself. I think I might just let him be Elton John for Halloween. It is cheap and he would enjoy letting everyone see his shades!

Unexpected Visitors

While the kids and I were at the gym today I got a phone call from Meredith, our friend that lives in Maryland. She was right around the corner from our house!! So I grabbed the kids and headed home to visit with Meredith and her boys, Clayton and Andrew. The kids had a blast playing together and it was great to catch up with Meredith. We didn't get to see Clay but we will catch him next time :)

Allie's 4th Birthday

Believe it or not we are still alive and well. On Saturday we had Allie's 4th Birthday party!! She had a blast and got a ton of nice gifts. Thank you to everyone for coming and helping our big girl celebrate another great year :)
